My 147academy sponsored the first ever RIBSA Irish Under 12 National Snooker Championship for 2014 in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow. It was great to see young players from all around Ireland battle it out for the title. Corey Ramsbottom from Carlow and Dean Roche from Youghal both played great to reach the final and they should be very proud of themselves. In the end it was my 147academy player Corey Ramsbottom from Carlow lifting the title with a 3-1 victory. I really believe this title will become an important event on the journey for our youngest Juniors to becoming the future stars of the game in Ireland in years to come. My academy will continue to sponsor this event each season and I am so proud that the first winner of the 147academy U-12 Irish Snooker Championship was Corey Ramsbottom who I believe has the game to go all the way to the top.
