The week is for everyone, regardless of age, gender or fitness level. With a focus on grassroots initiatives, the aim is to inspire Europeans to #BeActive on a regular basis and create opportunities in peoples’ everyday lives to play a sport.
European Week of Sport
Being Active does not mean having to be part of a sports club, a gym, running marathons or cycling across Europe. Being Active can be running around playing with your children, grabbing a walk with work colleagues on your lunch break
Others enjoy going outside and exploring the great outdoors or going to a snooker or billiard club to strike a few shots to learn a few skills and have fun. You can do whatever gets you moving to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Being Active leads you to:
- Increase Health Benefits
- Better Mental Health
- Feeling Great
- Having Fun
- Learning New Skills
- Motivated
- Confidence
Ryan McGuirk won the Tactical Challenge on the day and received a Snooker & Billiards Ireland Cup. Finally Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to thank all the players for attending the Cue Zone and we really hope everyone enjoyed the European Week of Sport Coaching day.
