Last weekend I returned to Vienna in Austria to hold another Development Camp organised by the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of October.
The Players
A mixture of top Austrian ranked Junior and Men Snooker & Billiard players plus a lady player was invited to the ÖSBV Academy in Vienna when Oskar Charlesworth, Lukas Stötzer, Josef Elias Wimmer, Stephanie Doležal, Patrick Stift, Daniel Seyser, Jerome Liedtke, Patrick Russ, Carl Walter Steiner, Mario Bodlos attended training from 10am to 6pm.
The training facilities in the HSEBC academy were again top class ahead of hosting a Q Tour event in December. I was very happy to see the players so motivated to improve at this camp. The players training performances was excellent and I am confident, we are developing the Austrian level at each camp.
High Quality Camp
This camp we concentrated on drills with Mini Breaks, Open Breaks, Long Potting and Match-play. On day 1, Oskar Charlesworth won the scoring event and Lukas Stötzer won the match-play event. On day 2 the camp focused on Billiards and Mario Bodlos won the scoring event on Day 2.
Coaching Program
All the players received a copy of a new training booklet. All the players had their technique profiled and each player got feedback on what fundamentals they need to work on. The players also bring home a copy of their videos to improve during their sessions at home.
Seminars Mental and physical
National Coach Chau Zi Kim gave a number of Mental Training seminar on becoming mentally stronger plus qualified fitness coach Daniel Seyser held a fitness session each morning for the players on how to warm up properly.

I had all the latest training aids to enhance the sessions like the Mini Domin Eye, Master Doctor, QLine, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser and the EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get the players on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in their delivery.
Thank You
I would personally like to thank the Austrian Association for inviting me to work with the National Team and I am already looking forward to holding more camps later in the year.
I would like to thank Austrian President Christian Fock plus National Coach Chau Zi Kim and EBSA Coach Bernard Müllner and Daniel Seyser along with the ÖSBV Academy for their assistance during this camp.
Good Luck
Finally, I would like to wish all the Austrian players good luck in the upcoming EBSA Championships in Portugal next week. It was a pleasure training everyone again and keep on training hard and believe in yourself.
See you all in December.
