The 2012 – 2013 season promises to be another exciting season for my 147Academy as The Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association have just announced their Association will be holding PJ Nolan coaching camps for the National teams in selected clubs throughout Austria next season. National team training camps are planned for Salzburg, Vienna and Graz throughout the season and PJ ‘’ said that it is a big honour to work with an ambitious Association like Austria and it is very exciting to coach up and coming young players like Andreas Ploner, Alexander Gauss, Paul Schopf, Dominik Scherübl and Markus Pfistermüller over the next season.
The Austrian Association hope to raise the profile of the sport with the help of the European head coach who will monitor the players at the camps and during the season at EBSA and IBSF events. I will train the players using my academy training programs and video the players during the camps while giving the players DVD’s of each session to study at home. The Club cue zones will help to promote the game and provide players with a training framework from basic beginner to a club player and all the way up to International level which will hopefully inspire the next generation of Austrian players coming through.
My 147 Academy would like to make a special thank you to Christian Flock, Director of Sport and Austrian Snooker for giving me the opportunity to work with the Austrian Snooker Association and all the Austrian players.
