The HSEBC Cue Sports Academy in Vienna, Austria was the venue for my latest Austrian National Snooker Training Camp organised by the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association with nine selected players invited to attend this two day PJ Nolan camp.
The Players
Manuel Pomwenger, Oskar Charlesworth, Andreas Ploner, Florian Nüßle, Jérôme Liedtke, Tajmeet Grover, Florian Toth, Mario Bodlos and Elias Kapitany attended this intense training camp to prepare the Austrian players for their National Championships next month.
Training Plan
This camp was one of the best ever with each player achieve fantastic results by improving on their scores from the last camp in October. During this camp I again worked on improving their Technique, Break Building skills and Safety Games with specific academy Technical, Mental, Scoring and Match-Play routines. I also focused on their Approach, Stance, Address Position, Bridge, Grip and Cue Actions and I really feel the players are developing their game with every camp.
All the players practiced from 10am – 6pm and it was a pleasure training them again as their commitment was superb.
Coaching
All the players received a CD from the coaching camp along with a copy of the training and Mind Fitness booklet to work on during each training session at home.
The Camp Winners
I held different types of competitions during the camp to monitor the player’s performances.
