Last weekend I returned to the beautiful city of Bucharest to hold another snooker training camp for the Real Snooker Tour Association in Romania. The training camp was arranged to promote the game and provide guidance to Junior, Masters and Senior Romanian players.
Florentin Ciobanu, Paul Croitoru, Iulian Zamfirescu, Alex Oprisor, Rzavan Baciu, Maxim Ene, Tudorache, Monica Manolache, Edu Riti, Sorin Craciun, Max Bera, Atti and Giulian. During this camp I worked on developing the players playing technique by designing a new training plan to get the players to improve their Approach, Stance, Cue Action, Grip, and Address Position.
I used my various academy training routines to focus on their tactical game as this is the one area that needs to improve the most. The new mini tactical games will help the players identify the correct shots to help to win more. All the players were recorded and they received a CD to study at home as I feel this is crucial for improving their game. The players also received the new academy training booklet.
Sorin Craciun won the camp challenge with a total of 56 points with Max Bera in second with 54 and Maxim Ene in third with 53 points. I look forward to hearing from the players over the next few months to see how high they can go in the 147academy challenge. Well done Sorin!!!!!
I was very impressed with the talented young Romanian players at the camp and I believe the players now have the correct fundamentals plus the correct training program to move the game on within Romania. I was so impressed with the vision of The Real Association on how they want to develop the game more in Romania.
Thank You
I would like to thank all the players for training so hard and to Paul and the Real Tour Association for making my trip so enjoyable and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again very soon.
