This week my 147academy welcomed Italian International Pool player Davy Piergiovanni from Rome for a two-day Snooker Training Camp in my new home base, the new SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow.
Davy has represented F.I.B.I. S. the Italy Federation at many European Pool Championships over the years and he travelled this week to get professional coaching to fine tune his Technique.
I worked with Davy on developing a professional pre shot routine, stance and smoother stroke in his cue action and delivery, plus we practiced key academy routines to work on his shot selection, break building and line of aim.
It was fantastic to have another International player in my 147academy and it was a pleasure coaching Davy to develop his game more. I designed a new training plan to help and encourage Davy to practice his snooker which I believe will make his pool game even better.
Davy was videoed during each session and he brings home videos with all the action from each session plus a technique profile and training program to study covering all the routines in the three main areas Technique, Potting and Scoring.
Davy “said it is was great to come over to Ireland and receive Coaching from PJ as he is very professional in his job and I loved the new SBI HQ as the Star tables were amazing.”
Training Aids
The latest training aids were used in the camp to enhance the sessions like the Master Doctor, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser, EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get him on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in his delivery. Davy was a fast learner in developing all the skills.
Good Luck
My 147academy would like to thank Davy for coming over to Ireland and I wish him well for the future. I hope Davy becomes more confident about his technique and to play more snooker in the future after this camp.
