My 147 Academy returned to the beautiful city of Gérardmer in France to hold another snooker camp in the Gérardmer Billiard Club. Gérardmer is also known as the pearl of the Vosges and it was a great honour to be asked back by Jean-Michel Martin the President of the Gérardmer Snooker Club and all his members.
The players who attended the camp were Seyed Hosseini, Maximilien Koch, Isabelle Kreps, Erwan Bouric, Jean-Michel Martin, Guy Voirin, Alexandre Poirot, Gilles Becker, Jules Durpoix, Emmanuel Jeandidier, Serge Andlauer, Yohan Kosniewski, Angélique Mehmeld, Clément Beden, Alizée Rivot and Michaël Martin.
I was delighted to see all the player’s improvement in their playing techniques since last years camp. This camp was all about putting the right training program in place now to help the players improve more. The players received a Dvd of their sessions to study as I feel this is crucial in developing good fundamentals and they practiced my academy break building and Safety game routines.
I would like to personally thank Michaël Martin for doing all the translating throughout the camp and I could not have done it without him. Finally a big thank you goes to Jean-Michel Martin and all his students for making it a special camp and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2017.
