The home base of PJ Nolan’s 147 Academy is the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club Carlow in the Republic of Ireland. Carlow Town is a small town around 1 hour 15 minutes from Dublin. The snooker club contains 10 Shender Championship Tables and 1 Riley Professional Silver leg Match Table.
These tables are used for all World IBSF Snooker Championships and have professional lighting and electronic scoreboards over each table. The Club is owned by Jim and Marian Leacy. Jim Leacy is the current Republic of Ireland Billiards & Association Chairman and former IBSF President and EBSA Chairman.
