I am delighted to announce the new home base of the PJ Nolan 147academy will be in the new SBI National Centre of Excellence and Headquarters for Snooker & Billiards Ireland in the town of Carlow Town, Co Laois in the Republic of Ireland.
Carlow is a small town in the south east of Ireland and around 1 hour 15 minutes from Dublin. The location of the base will be in Graigue on the Portlaoise Road in Carlow Town R93 C5Y6.

SBI hope this base will be open in October/November 2021 and this HQ will be the state of the art with Shender and Star Championship Snooker Tables. These tables are used at World IBSF amateur Snooker Championships and WST professional events worldwide. Each table will have professional lighting and electronic scoreboards over each table.
All 147academy coaching aids will be available for all students in Ireland and from all around the world to use during the sessions in this new coaching base. I promise the most professional sessions for any level of player to improve their games.

SBI Chairman Dylan Rees said ‘’ At the recent SBI AGM he outlined the main requirements for SBI is to have dedicated coaching zone headed by our National PJ Nolan and have a professional playing area and meeting room/office to grow the game.
SBI are delighted to have such a highly respected WPBSA/IBSF/EBSA/ SBI snooker coach like PJ heading our coaching program and having his 147academy based in this new facility in Carlow is fantastic for Irish Snooker.
