Last month I travelled to the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic to hold a 7 day snooker training camp in the Billiard Centrum Sports Club. A selection of players who compete in various Czech Republic ranking events teamed up with players from the National Team to attend the training course to promote the game and provide players with guidance and knowledge of how to play and train like a champion. I coached the players using my specific academy training programs and videoed each player during the camp gave them DVD’s of each session to study at home. Tomas Nahlik an experienced International player said he was very impressed with the quality and coaching the players received on the course. We now have the correct fundamentals and PJs training books to move the game on within the Czech Republic.
PJ said he really enjoyed the course and it was a big honour to coach in Prague. I also met the President of The Czech Republic Snooker Association, Tomas Kejla and after talking to him and training players like 12 year old Ales Herout the future looks good in the Czech Republic and I predict it will not be long until they are producing snooker champions.
