Andreas Ploner still remains the number 1 ranked player in Austria but this event had three players under 21 in the semi-finals stages of a grand prix for the first time. Dominik has worked very hard over the last few months with me on the mental side of the game and on the tactical side as he is a great potter. ” Dominik said that this event he felt stronger and in more control than he ever did which helped him with the title ”
The Future of Austrian Snooker
This goes well for the future of Austrian Snooker as my main role of coaching in the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association is to develop young players to come through to the top of the game over the next few seasons. Dominik attention now switches to the Austrian National Championships later this month and the World Under 21 Championships in China where my academy wishes him and all the players the best of luck. I would like to thank the Austrian Association for their support and I look forward to returning to Austria soon to train the National Team and well done Dominik and i hope this is one of many titles you will win.
