Last week my 147 Academy travelled to the city of Tel Aviv in Israel to hold another snooker training camp for Israeli Champion Shachar Ruberg. This camp was aimed to prepare Shachar on his new Star Table for the 2017 EBSA European Snooker Championship in Cyprus next month. During this camp Shachar practiced various routines to improve Long Potting, Cue Ball Control, Break Building, Tactical and Safety Games. He received DVD’s to study of his playing techniques and action from the camp plus a new training plan.

Shachar made numerous high quality breaks and it was a pleasure training him again as his commitment was superb throughout the camp. A few of the best breaks he made during the camp were 135 Jimmy Break, 98 Hendry Break, 99 Selby Break. I worked on getting him into the correct address position and coming in on the line of aim using the new Doctor Master Kit and alignment laser plus developing a smoother cue action to strike the cue ball.
During my visit I also helped Shachar to set up the 147academy base in Israel where players can receive coaching from Shachar who is an EBSA Coach using all of my academy programs to help them improve their game. Finally I would like to thank Mr Karny and Shachar’s manager Albert Zanft for arranging everything for me and I would like to wish Shachar good luck in Cyprus.
