Last weekend on Saturday May 31st and Sunday June 1st, I returned to the ÖSBV Academy in Vienna to hold my latest National Training Camp. This training camp was again organised by the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association.
High Quality Camp
A mixture of top Austrian ranked players plus up and coming Snooker and Billiard players were invited to the ÖSBV Academy. The training facilities in the ÖSBV Academy were top class. The players training performances were excellent and I am confident, we are developing the Austrian level at each camp.

Day 1
Day 1 of the camp was focused on the top players on the National rankings and included new Professional player Florian Nuessle who attended and I was delighted to see all the players so motivated to improve at this camp.

The Players
Florian Nuessle, Emil Becker, Mario Bodlos, Oskar Charlesworth, Paul Schopf, Thomas Janzso, Patrick Stift, Lukas Stötzer and Josef Wimmer attended training and we concentrated on specific academy drills focusing on Break-Building, Mini Breaks, Open Breaks, Long Potting and Match-play.

On Day 2
This camp was concentrated on the leading Austrian Billiard players plus Junior and lady players when Milan Dobrosavljevic, Stefanie Dolezal, Timo Gampersberger, Dominic Neuwirth, Christian Pleschko, Patrick Stegmeier, Josef Wimmer and Patrick Russ attended. We focused on their Potting Skills, Cue Ball Control, Long Potting and Match-play event.

Coaching Program
All the players received a copy of a mind fitness booklet on dealing with Comfort Zones. The players had their technique profiled and got feedback on what fundamentals they need to work on. The players also bring home a copy of their videos to improve at home.

Mental Fitness Seminars
PJ showed a number of Mental Training videos on becoming mentally stronger which will help them develop more in the future. Austrian EBSA Coach Bernhard Müllner was also on hand to guide and coach the players.

Training Aids
The latest training aids were used to enhance the sessions like the Mini Domin Eye, Master Doctor, QLine, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser and the EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get the players on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in their delivery.
Thank You
I would personally like to thank the Austrian Association for their continued support and inviting me again to hold three more camps with their National Teams players in 2025.

I would like to thank Austrian President Christian Fock plus National Coach Chau Zi Kim and EBSA Coach Bernhard Müllner along with the ÖSBV Academy for their assistance during this camp.
It was a pleasure training everyone again and keep on training hard and believe in yourself guys.
See you all in September at our next National camp.
Auf Wiedersehen
