Last week my 147academy welcomed back 17-year-old Filip Vidak from Belgrade in Serbia for a another training camp in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow, Ireland.
It was an honour to hold another camp for this International student who is preparing for the upcoming WSF Snooker Championships in Bulgaria and EBSA Snooker Championships in Spain.

Filip had returned to Carlow in the Republic of Ireland to develop his game more and I was very impressed with his improvement since our last camp. His work rate on the drills and learning technical information was superb.
Filip is coached by EBSA Snooker Coach Marko Stoilković and plays in the Mister S Snooker Club in Belgrade and it was big honour to work and train Filip for another training camp.

Star of the future
Filip travelled to my 147academy base in Carlow to improve his scoring, cue ball control and overall game. Filip made many high breaks during this camp and cleared many drills in the camp.
It was brilliant to see him work so hard. I believe Filip has the potential to become one of the top European juniors in the next couple of years. His potting was incredible and his attitude was superb all the way through the camp.

Training Aids
The latest training aids were used in this camp to enhance each session like the Mini Domin Eye, QLine, Blade Cue, Master Doctor, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser, EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get him on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in his delivery.
Training Camp Structure
Filip was videoed during each session and he brings home all the videos of the action from the sessions to study and analyse. A new training program with specific drills was designed to help him train better at home.

Training Camp
Filip “said it is fantastic to return with PJ to do another Camp in Ireland. PJ structured the perfect camp and my new training plan and new fundamentals are already making me feel confident about improving more. “

During this camp, PJ worked on fine tuning his fundamentals in his technique by working on his Approach, Delivery,Bridge. We also talked about his scoring, shot selection, Safety and cue ball control plus on the mental side on becoming mentally stronger.
New Training Plan
Filip now begins a new training program which will be monitored with the feedback from his practice sessions in Serbia. It is really fantastic to have this European Junior in my 147academy and I will do everything possible to help develop his game over the next few years.

Thank You
My 147academy would like to thank Filip for wanting to come to Carlow for another camp. I wish him good luck in Bulgaria and I am looking forward to our next camp ahead of the 2026 European Championships in Spain in March.
