This week I had the pleasure of coaching one of the most exciting young European Juniors in twelve-year-old Bulcsú Révész from Hungary in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow. Bulcsú travelled to Ireland this week for training with my 147academy to prepare for the World IBSF U-16 Championship which will be held in Russia at the end of August.
Bulcsú attended the RIBSA Junior Developmental Day on Saturday and the RIBSA International Team Camp on Sunday where he excelled. Bulcsú then had a private 2day camp on Monday and Tuesday with PJ Nolan who is National Irish Coach and a EBSA, WPBSA, IBSF Qualified Coach.
Hungarian Snooker Association
Bulcsú is part of the Hungarian Snooker Association which is an upcoming country in Europe with EBSA & WPBSA Coaches, International Referees. A Venue which hosts World Snooker Challenge Events and hosts many Gala Exhibitions in front of 2,800 fans featuring World’s best players like Shaun Murphy, John Higgins, Mark Williams and Judd Trump each season.

One of the World’s Best 12 yr olds
PJ said ‘’ He was very impressed with his talent, work rate and passion in learning all the different drills and technical information. I believe he is one of the best 12year old’s in the world at present and over the past two years he has developed so much. It was an honour to have another World top junior wanting to be part of my 147academy in helping him develop his game over the next few years.

Great to be in Carlow
Bulcsú “said it was great to come to Ireland and have PJ to help me prepare for the World U-16’s. I now feel more confident about my technique and I really enjoyed the session and how PJ has planned it out for me, I cannot wait to get home and start doing my new program.

New Training Program
Bulcsú was videoed during his session and he brings home CD’s with all the action from the session to study covering all the routines. Bulcsú is a fast learner, developing the skills. Bulcsú begins a new training program which will be monitored with results and feedback in helping him peak for future events.
