This week my 147academy had the pleasure of coaching Portuguese player Francisco Domingues who lives in Barcelona, Spain for a three-day Snooker Training Camp in the new SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow.
Francisco plays in National events within Spain and Portugal and has played in many events around the world including the Vienna Open. This week he travelled to get professional coaching to fine tune his Technique and improve his overall game.
I worked with Francisco on developing a professional pre shot routine for alignment on the line of aim and a smoother stroke in his cue action and delivery. We also practiced key academy routines to work on his shot selection, aiming, break building and cue ball control.
It was fantastic to have another International player in my 147academy and it was a pleasure coaching him to develop his game. I designed a new training plan to help Francisco to practice within a structure which I believe will help him improve and be more consistent.
Francisco was videoed during each session and he brings home all the videos with the action from each session plus a technique profile and training program to study covering all the routines in the three main areas Technique, Potting and Scoring.
Francisco “said it was the best three days ever to come over to PJ to receive Coaching. I only wish I came over before as his coaching is excellent and the new SBI HQ in Ireland is amazing.”
Training Aids
The latest training aids were used in the camp to enhance the sessions like the Master Doctor, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy Laser, EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get him on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in his delivery. Francisco was a fast learner in developing all the skills.
Good Luck
My 147academy would like to thank Francisco for coming over to Ireland and I wish him well for the future. I hope Francisco becomes more confident about his technique to achieve his goals in the future after this camp.
