What an unbelievable weekend for my 147acdemy student 15 year old Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS when he won four under Age Irish Titles during RIBSA Finals Weekend in the Ivy Rooms on the 6th and 7th of May. Ross won the Irish Under 16, Under 18, Under 19 and Under 21 National Titles.
In the finals Ross beat two world class junior players Aaron Hill and Noel Landers, In the Under 16 Final Ross beat Aaron Hill 4-0, In the Under 18 Final Ross beat Aaron Hill 4-0, In the U-19 Final Ross beat Noel Landers 4-2 and in the Under 21 Final Ross beat Noel Landers 4-1.
It is the first time any player has won all four junior titles in one weekend, as a few famous juniors over the years have held all the titles at the same time. Ross has now won 9 National Under Age titles in just 3 years. My 147Academy congratulates Aaron Hill and Noel Landers on reaching the finals along with Ross on his superb victories and hopefully all three players will have a great season next year.
